National Apprentice of the Month October

Apprentice – Tyne Connolly

Employer – Nadler Hotel, Soho,

Story:

Tyne quickly fitted into the team at the Nadler and performed above and beyond the expectations of her employers.  As a result of her work ethic and commitment, Tyne was put forward by her employer for their Ambassador training where she had to learn all about the local area including shops, tourist attractions, local public transport and eateries.  Upon completing the course, Tyne had to take an exam to test her knowledge.  She passed with flying colours and assumed the role of the hotel receptionist. Tyne continues to impress her managers and has been a fantastic learner throughout her programme and a worthy winner of our apprentice of the month award.

Employer comments:

Tyne has become an invaluable member of the team, and as an ambassador is able to offer an exclusive service to the customers promoting the company’s image and reputation.

Tyne has learnt a lot of new skills and gained a lot of additional knowledge which will help her progress in her role and further her career.

Learner comments:

Tyne:  I have really enjoyed the past year completing my apprenticeship and learning about the hotel industry.  I have learnt a lot in the past year – not just knowledge for my role but a lot about my own personality and my confidence has really built up.  I look forward to working with my training advisor Tanya again on my next qualification and I am looking forward to progressing within my role at the Nadler.
