How long has Lisa worked for Smart Training?

I have worked for Smart since 2011. I have been working within the education sector since 2005, first working for a further education college and then for Smart.

What are Lisa's specialisms?

I started as an assessor for Smart and I have progressed to be the Quality Assurance Lead for Management and Commerce. I gained my Certificate of Education and A1 Assessors Award between 2005 and 2007, and I have my QTLS status (Qualified Teacher of Learning and Skills). I have completed various courses and qualifications whilst working for Smart including Prevent &Safeguarding, E-Safety, IQA Award, Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT at Level 2. I am a member of the Society for Education and Training (SET).

I assess and quality assurance for frameworks and new standards including Management (Level 3, 4 & 5), Business Admin (Level 2, 3 & 4), Customer Service (Level 2& 3), Hospitality, Team Leading, Cleaning and Support.

Lisa's previous work experience

My experience is within Hospitality working as a manager mainly within various bars and restaurants through the city of London for a private company. I have also worked within management for Compass Catering. I have a BA (Hons) Hospitality Management Degree in which I covered many aspects such as administration, finance, psychology and food studies. In addition, I spent my third year working within Management in upstate New York, USA. I worked within the industry for 12 years before starting my career in education.

Lisa's hobbies & interests

I have many interests but my main ones are reading, listening to podcasts, travelling and the most important, spending time with family and friends.
