Learners

Smart Futures Programme

From 1st August 2023 young people aged 16-18, (or 19-24 and in receipt of an EHCP), who are not yet ready to progress onto an apprenticeship, paid employment or onto a further education programme of study, will be able to apply for a position with Smart Training and Recruitment under our new Smart Futures Programme.

Smart Futures – Level Up your Maths & English

The development of English and Mathematics functional skills is key to all learning!

As part of the government’s ‘Study Programmes’, we are supporting young people with the achievement of their Maths and English Functional Skills, up to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent), as well as their Employability Skills.

We are proud to have developed a new programme of learning which will focus on developing functional and transferable skills, better aligned with the workplace skills needs.

Additionally, bursary/financial support may be available for those candidates who are eligible, in order to remove any participation barriers. See our “Bursary Fund Policy” under policies section for further details, or use the “email us today” contact link below, to enquire

Study programmes are aimed at people that are:
