Jodie was originally nominated for the award by her Training Advisor, Rose Harrison.

Jodie started on a traineeship program in September 2020, and this was her first experience in work. School and College never worked out for Jodie and she applied for the traineeship at Wrights of Warrington as she had moved into her own house. This made her driven to succeed and focus on work her studies. Jodie went on to achieve both the Employability skills and the Digital Skills aims of the traineeship. She demonstrated the skills, commitment and reliability needed to progress into full time work.

Tracey saw something special in Jodie and offered her a job as a customer service apprentice. Jodie remained positive throughout the second lockdown, working a few days a week until she could start her customer service apprenticeship in April 2021. Jodie is now progressing both in her role and with her course. Tracey now relies on Jodie and has trusted her to open and close the office.
