Job Description:
- To provide exceptional care for all residents within the home
- To be on hand to support the residents
- To support them with feeding
- To record relevant information in different formats
- To undertake other duties as requested by the Home Manager
- To ensure any messages are relayed in a timely manner and using the correct process to the relevant member of the team
- Assist in any other task/duties as requested by a member of staff or the Team Leader on site
Skills and Requirements:
Desired Skills
- Communicate effectively with other team members and patients
- Good written and verbal skills
- Good customer service skills
- Will be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Required Qualifications
5 GCSE’s grade C/4 or above or equivalent, including maths and English are required.
Future Prospects
After successful completion of the Apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to progress with lots of further learning to develop within the care home.
Training to be delivered
- Healthcare support worker Level 2 Apprenticeship
Full induction through and ongoing training/learning and development throughout the Apprenticeship by Performance Network and Smart.
