Job Description:

During this exciting apprenticeship you will receive full on-job training to support and mentor you into becoming the next big name in cooking. Your training will include but not be inclusive of;

  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Legalities of completing kitchen documentation
  • Prepare, cook, finish and present;
  • Meat dishes
  • Fish dishes
  • Poultry dishes
  • Vegetable dishes
  • Pasta dishes
  • Cakes, sponges and scones 
  • Event catering

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate good communication skills and have a keen eye for detail alongside a passion for working with fresh ingredients.

Maths and Eng A-D/ 3-9

Future Prospects

Full time employment and an advanced apprenticeship

Training to be delivered

  • Diploma in Professional Cookery
  • Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles

The apprentice will undertake a full company induction and start working towards a Level 2 in Professional cookery and functional skills maths and English. This will be delivered by a personal tutor who will with the employer support and mentor you into achieving this qualification.
