Job Description:

Duties include:

  • Accurately measuring meal ingredients for the Head Chef
  • Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
  • Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Head Chef
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality
  • Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers
  • Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations are properly sanitised
  • Plating and presenting meal items as per the Head Chef's instructions

Required Qualifications

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent grade A*/9 – D/4.

Career progression through the apprenticeship scheme. Randy’s Wing Bar like to promote internally.

Training to be delivered

Full company induction including H&S, 1-1 mentoring with the head chef &  Level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship
