Job Description:

Are you looking at starting a career in sales without the pressure of targets?  Utility Alliance has the perfect Sales academy set up exactly for this, giving each apprentice the time and coaching they need in order to make that first sale.

As an apprentice you will:

  • You will join the sales academy for 6 weeks before joining your core team
  • You will work in the sales division after your 6 weeks in the academy and will complete a Level 2 in Technical Sales apprenticeship
  • Utilising an internal CRM system to record and update customer records and campaigns
  • Engaging with customers by outbound calling to B2B clients
  • Analyse customer data to understand their business needs and to tailor a solution for the client
  • Communication with various current and new customer via different methods based on the needs of the client
  • Through solutions selling be able to offer a full holistic package of energy services product to suit the customers business needs and objectives
  • Work on a pipeline of customers for retentions

Skills and Requirements:

Desired Skills

Required Qualifications

  • GCSEs or equivalents, in both math’s and English at grade 4 – 9 C-A*, certificates to prove grades
  • If you do not have these qualifications, you will be required to complete functional skills qualifications as part of your apprenticeship

Future Prospects

This role will offer the chance for progression and professional development and a full-time position will be discussed upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Training to be delivered

Induction, Sales, Customer Services, and ongoing training as per qualification standards.
