Job Description:

The Trust HR & General Administration Assistant has responsibility for supporting the vision of the Trust through assisting with people management processes and policies.

The role will include:

  • The Collation, and provision of data to enable Trust leaders to make decisions on Trust design and workforce planning Assist the HR Manager in supporting people management processes and polices
  • Support the delivery of internal learning events Providing a general administration and reception function to the central support team

Key accountabilities:

  • School/Trust Workforce Design and Planning Contribute to identification of potential improvements in Trust design including use of benchmarking to identify gaps
  • Collate and provide reliable and relevant management information for benchmarking to help identify gaps between Trust design and school development plan and to aid with recruitment and selection
  • Provide timely and efficient explanation and support to applicants and managers to support the recruitment and selection process Work with employees affected by change to explain rationale and reinforce need to change
  • Support schools in recording and delivering induction processes including safeguarding training Administer and collate appropriate documentation relating to leavers
  • General Administration

Provide general administrative support to the Central support team to include:

  • Answering and directing calls as appropriate
  • Email management
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Perform filing as needed

Skills and Requirements:

Desired Skills

  • Experience of working in an administrative role in an office environment
  • Ability to build and form excellent relationships with a wide range of colleagues across the Trust as well as external agencies
  • Strong and proven organisational skills

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 2 equivalent (GCSEs Grade C/4) in English and maths
  • Experience in proficient use of IT systems including Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and e-mail
