Job Description:

The apprentice will play an important team role in the day to day planning, organisation and smooth running of the department. Working within a busy office environment, training will cover all aspects of administration in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.

Duties to include:

  • Reception duties
  • Dictation
  • Preparing invoices and receipts and basic accounts
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Maintenance of filing system
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining database
  • Assisting with mail shots to customers
  • Typing of various items, including marketing material and general correspondence as required 
  • Responding to email
  • Assisting with corporate hospitality
  • Assisting with social media
  • Typing letters and correspondence

Skills and Requirements:

Desired Skills

  • Good communication
  • IT skills

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE pass or equivalent in at least 5 subjects to include English and maths A*/9 – C/4

Future Prospects

Training to be delivered

Level 2 Business and Administration Framework.

Full company induction and ongoing on the job training.

Smart Training & Recruitment to deliver apprenticeship, to include Functional Skills if required.
