Job Description:

The environments are busy and hands-on. Applicants must be capable of rising to the challenge of working in new ways and willing in time to practice autonomously.

The PCN will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive reception service to both staff and centre users, ensuring efficient and clear communications at all times

The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Patient Navigation and reception service to our patients, ensuring efficient and clear communication at all times. We require the candidate to support our clinical teams to ensure an effective, caring, responsive and safe service. We also require the individual to keep the reception area(s), clinical and meeting rooms tidy, presentable and Health & Safety compliant at all times.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include;

  • Greeting in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
  • Driving patient satisfaction in the practice
  • Providing effective communication to patients during their time in the reception area
  • Signpost our patients to the appropriate checking in / remote patient services screens
  • Navigating the patient to the appropriate clinician for future appointments

  • Well organised and meticulous with good time management, leadership, and delegation skills

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE English & Maths or equivalent

Future Prospects

Could potentially lead to a permanent position depending on variables such as Company situation etc.

Training to be delivered

Company induction, mandatory training and on-going on the job training.
