HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE STATEMENT

Smart Training and Recruitment is committed to providing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for all staff, learners, visitors, and contractors. In line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related legislation, we aim to prevent injury, illness, and harm through proactive management and continuous improvement.

Recognising that a safe and healthy environment is vital to both wellbeing and excellence, we strive to exceed legal standards by integrating health and safety into all core management functions and ensuring that all staff and learners are fully equipped to understand and fulfil their  responsibilities. Arrangements are made for:

➢ Managing health, safety and welfare issues arising from our activities by:

  1. Maintaining safe and healthy working conditions
  2. Ensuring that proactive welfare initiatives, behaviours, systems, and policies are implement, promoted and embedded in the culture of the organisation.
  3. Providing adequate control of health and safety risks
  4. Providing and maintaining safe equipment
  5. Ensuring safe handling and use of substances

➢ Consulting with staff, learners and employers on health, safety and welfare matters;
➢ Providing information and training in respect of health, safety and welfare
➢ Monitoring and reviewing this policy, company risks, accidents and incidents
