Our Adult Care Worker Apprenticeships teach learners to assist adults with care and support needs. Adult Care Workers are frontline staff who help adults live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice.

Apprenticeship Overview:

Adult Care Workers in this apprenticeship make a positive difference in the lives of people faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, or intellectual challenges. They may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres, a person’s own home, or some clinical healthcare settings. Working with people and feeling passionate about supporting and enabling them to live a more independent and fulfilling life is a rewarding and worthwhile job that provides excellent career opportunities.

After completing this Apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to gain more responsibility, like becoming a team leader or supervisor, or to specialise in a particular aspect of work, such as an activity coordinator or rehabilitation worker.
