How can Smart Training & Recruitment help you level up your workforce?

Recruit an Apprentice

Apprenticeships can inject new knowledge, skills and attitude into your workforce. 74% of employers said apprenticeships have helped them improve their product or service quality. Our experienced Consultants will guide you through each phase of the process. We can even help to find a suitable candidate at no extra cost to your business.

Train your team

Train your workforce through apprenticeship programmes can help fill critical skill gaps, boost employee motivation and improve staff retention. Because apprenticeships combine full-time work with study and off-the-job training, your employee can earn a nationally recognised qualification from level 2 (equivalent to a GCSE) to level 5 (equivalent to an HND) in a work-relevant subject.

Funding

Whether you are a small, medium or large organisation, the Government provides financial assistance to help fund your apprentice’s training. If your company’s annual wage bill exceeds £3 million, it will pay the apprenticeship levy, covering 100% of the associated costs. Companies that don’t pay the apprenticeship levy will be responsible for contributing 5% or less towards the cost of training and assessing their apprentice.

Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS)

The Digital Apprenticeship Service is the government portal for employers to find, fund, and manage apprenticeship programmes. All apprenticeships in England must be managed through the Apprenticeship Service. You will need to set up an account to use the service.

We’re in great company!

Learner & Employer testimonials that speak for themselves

" I am completing my second qualification with Smart Training and would recommend their services to others. My current training advisor is John O’Callaghan who offers endless support and encouragement. The programme is great and has already enabled me to develop within my role after only starting the course a few months ago. "

Emma Prendergast (Learner)

" I have just competed my Level 5 coaching apprenticeship and had the pleasure of being support by Gill! Gill was so approachable, supportive, and kind throughout and was on the end of the phone or email whenever I needed her! She helped me stay focused and I was thrilled when I passed my end point assessment! "
