Apprenticeship Overview:

This Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship is for individuals leading the care service and managing teams of carers to look after adults with care needs. A Leader in Adult Care will develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to manage community or residential-based services. The role involves significant leadership responsibilities to ensure the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs, and well-led. They may be a registered manager of a service, unit, deputy, or assistant manager and ensure regulatory compliance of the care provided. They are also responsible for the values and training of staff within established standards and regulations.
